A Word From the Founder of Pavlack Law

I started Pavlack Law with a vision of taking my many years of experience in a large firm litigating some of highest-profile cases in   the State of Indiana and beyond, and applying it to representing individuals and businesses in need. Over the course of my career, I spearheaded cases involving battles between corporate giants, antitrust conspiracies involving price-fixing and abuse of monopoly power, securities and consumer fraud, and bad faith insurance practices. These cases routinely resulted in seven and eight figure settlements. I am particularly proud, for example, of playing a leading role in the nearly $60 million settlement of a class action case against Indianapolis-area concrete companies for conspiring to fix the prices of their product in violation of the antitrust laws.

Despite the excitement and rewards of working on these big-ticket cases, I've always most enjoyed representing individuals and closely-held businesses in their times of need. I believe in the importance of the human side of cases, and find it most rewarding to deliver exceptional representation and results to the people who are affected by conflicts and legal disputes. By the time someone picks up the phone to call their lawyer, they are usually at their wits' end and feel there's nowhere they can turn. I want to be the one who helps.

Pavlack Law strives to treat each case like it's the most important. With highly-individualized attention, you will never feel like you're just a number.

We are conveniently located in Downtown Indianapolis, though we're happy to visit you at your home or in the hospital for a consultation.

We sincerely look forward to speaking to anyone who is in need of help with a legal problem. Let me put my big-case experience to work on your legal needs, big or small.

Eric S. Pavlack

Founder Pavlack Law, LLC and Senior Civil Litigation Attorney

I spent the first decade plus of my career working for a large firm in downtown Indianapolis practicing class action law, business litigation, contract disputes, personal injury cases, and other complex litigation across the country. After becoming a partner and experiencing the benefits of that life, I decided to take my skills and apply them to the people and businesses that need them most. When I opened Pavlack Law I set out to destroy the myth that unless someone is willing to go broke paying big firm fees he or she cannot get top notch legal service. With Pavlack Law, I have the ability to apply my understanding of the fact that each case and each client is unique to the billing structure. This has allowed me to provide discretion in tailoring a fee structure that suits each client and his or her case. Many of the cases I take are contingency fee cases. A contingency fee attorney forwards all fees and expenses for the case and is not paid one cent until a recovery is made on your behalf. I like to think of it as a system that allows you to pay for results. That is what we deliver at Pavlack Law – results.

Associate Civil Litigation Attorney

I was born and raised on a small family farm in northern Indiana as the son of two high school math teachers. I also had the great fortune of growing up next door to my grandparents. My grandfather taught me the meaning and rewards of a hard day's work. I used those lessons to excel both academically and personally resulting in the great honor of being named in the inaugural class of Indiana University's Herbert Presidential Scholars. While in undergrad, I had the chance to work as a research assistant for Professor David Parker which gave me the opportunity to develop my research skills, co-author an academic paper, and present that paper at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association. After completing my undergraduate degree a year early with high distinction, I enrolled in Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where I graduated with honors. After various clerkships including the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office and a prominent Indianapolis law firm, I now have the privilege to work for and with one of the finest attorneys I have had the pleasure of knowing in Eric Pavlack as I continue to enjoy the rewards of a hard day's work.

I focus my practice on civil litigation and appeals for both plaintiffs and defendants. This ranges from personal injury to class actions and other complex litigation matters. At the heart of my practice is focusing on providing the best services to my clients that are possible. I pride myself on my ability to tackle even the most complex legal matters. I have dealt with such complex issues as federal preemption doctrine in the realm of medical devices as well as the issue of certifying multi-state class action cases.
